Like a giant meteor The Libertarian Party continues to gain critical mass in Kentucky warranting the mantle of legitimate political organization.
The Commonwealth of Kentucky has repeatedly argued that LPKY lacks a modicum of support for ballot access, ladies and gentleman, we believe we have it, the numbers below speak for themselves but we also believe that we can send a unmistakable and resounding message to the dinosaur duopoly on November 8th by smashing the ballot box like the giant meteor we have become.

Last month there were 5861 registered libertarians in Kentucky, membership outreach reports they subsequently set a goal to add a minimum of 500 to 750 registered members their ranks to between then and the registration deadline on October 11th.

Thanks to your efforts and advocacy, shattering everyone's wildest expectations, LPKY has graciously found itself with 7456 "Big L" Libertarians deposing the status quo as we approach election day.

We have approximately 3 weeks until we vote, tell your friends, tell your family, tell someone you don't like, that we all have a viable alternative this November and to #GoogleGaryJohnson

"Folks, there's something big on the horizon. LPKY registration last month was 5861. Now it's 7456. That's an increase of 1595 month-over-month. Just.... Wow." ~ Ken Moelleman, LNC Ballot Access Committee Chairman

Ohio Petition Submission 2016
It’s Now official. The battle for ballot access is over. Gary Johnson is officially on the ballot in all fifty states. He will be the only Presidential candidate on all fifty state ballots outside the establishment duopoly.  It is a major accomplishment for any minor party candidate. Excluding the "two party duopoly" no other party has managed this feat in twenty years.

In fact, the last party to do so was the Libertarian Party in 1996. The ability to gather hundreds of thousands of signatures is testament to the organizational ability of the Libertarian Party  thanks in no small part to the pragmatic  popularity of Gary Johnson.

Other third parties attempting to run a Presidential candidate this year will not be able to claim this mantle. The Green Party is likely to only secure ballot access in around forty six states but will be left off in major battleground states like North Carolina.

The Constitution Party fares much worse and will probably only be on the ballot in about twenty five. That isn’t even enough to win the Electoral College. Delusional upstarts like Evan McMullin have only gotten on the ballot in about a dozen states – nowhere near electoral viability. None of those third parties will be a true third option for all Americans.

The final state to be validated was Rhode Island which was accomplished by submitting more than twice the required signatures. With that last state in the bag, Gary Johnson is now the only Presidential candidate that will be on all fifty state ballots plus D.C. this year opposite the Republican and Democrat nominees.

The Governor will be the only viable third option that all Americans will have the opportunity of choosing on their ballots November 8th. This is an important consideration, given how hard the major parties are trying to debunk their viability. Try as they might, the establishment candidates simply don’t meet Presidential muster but unfortunately for us their party status is guarded by the interest of the status quo.
